Christian Knox
Program Manager
Christian Knox is a youth development leader, accomplished collegiate athlete, and entrepreneur whose work bridges education, athletics, mentorship, and community empowerment. A graduate of Lakeland University with a degree in sport management, Knox played four years of collegiate basketball, concluding his career as one of Lakeland’s leading scorers and among the top three-point shooters in his conference.
Deeply rooted in the Ypsilanti community, Knox brings experience in youth development, leadership programming, and community engagement. His work at Parkridge Community Center and CLR Academy — recognized by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office for outstanding community partnership — helped shape his approach to empowering young people through mentorship, athletics, and meaningful relationships. As Program Manager for Washtenaw My Brother’s Keeper, he develops and leads programming grounded in restorative practices, positive identity development, and leadership cultivation, equipping boys and young men of color with the confidence, connections, and skills to thrive.
An entrepreneur and founder of the vintage apparel venture Thrift Activist, Knox brings creativity, business acumen, and an athlete’s competitive spirit to his leadership. His approach reflects a guiding conviction: When young men are given the opportunity to discover their strengths, develop their voices, and recognize their potential, they become leaders capable of transforming their communities.
