WMBK Gala 2026
Washtenaw My Brother’s Keeper will host its 4th Annual Gala on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Eastern Michigan University Student Center Ballroom. Yusef Salaam, member of New York’s Exonerated Five and current New York City Council member will be our keynote speaker!
The event will bring together community members, educators, advocates, elected officials and business leaders in support of boys and young men of color throughout Washtenaw County. Guests are invited to dress to impress, step out in their best sneakers and commit to meaningful action that extends beyond the ballroom. The Love Stand
Join us for the biggest stop yet on the Formula 734 Summer Tour and the second annual Love Stand Concert. The concert will take place on July 25th from 3PM to 9PM at 315 N River St, Ypsilanti, Michigan, right next to Depot Town. The concert will include 15 performers, including rappers, R&B singers, and spoken word artists. Along with music, there will be a magic show, an MC, food from local vendors, and a pop-up lemonade stand from local business Teezy's Lemon Squeezy. The Love Stand concert is open to all members of the public free of charge, and we hope that all who are interested are able to stop by and enjoy music, food, and community.
