Muddasar Tawakkul has over 20 years of legal experience and is currently employed as Director of Compliance and Privacy at FordDirect (subsidiary of Ford). Prior to that, Muddasar worked for Wayne County for 10 years, serving in various capacities, including lead attorney and purchasing director. Muddadar served as Chief Compliance/Procurement Officer for Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority for 4 years. Muddasar participates in several community and civic organizations, including the NAACP (Detroit-Branch) Executive Board Member, Michigan Basic Property Insurance Association Board of Governors, Board Member, Hype Athletics, Board Member, TeenHype, and was appointed to the Ypsilanti Township Planning Commission in 2018.
